A rant...or why do you guys undermine the earning potential of UG

OK...I'm putting this out there for some discussion...I love UG and I have the utmost respect for Slinky and his efforts on behalf of the community. I have many Independent providers who are good friends..I had a party the other night and was talking to them about Utopiaguide hoping to get some of them to come over here and advertise. The reaction I got across the board was one of disgust. Thay mentioned the name calling and the generally negative reactions men out here have to girls who post. Do you guys think that you are doing this board a service everytime you call women out here fat,old,ripoffs,too expensive etc....do you think this makes life easy for slinky who does not just run this board for fun...How is he supposed to get any advertising revenue if women find this board so hostile?? If a provider doesn't fall into what your looking for walk on by...
check out your reactions to alot of the girls who posted free ads..why would they want to pay for an ad if this was the receptiom they get right off the bat???
I'm not talking about legitimate negative reviews nor am i talking about censorship...I'm talking about random attacks...think about it...

I think that it is more directed to women who think that their "shit don't stink" and they can't take a little criticism. I mean you are still around aren't you and your business is good no ?

Betty is another one who is around and contributes no?

You two seem to understand that we work hard for our money and want the best bang for our buck.

if the atmosphere is hostile,the eally good ones stay away...UG could benefit from a broader advertising base...not many girls would put up with the shit I havetaken on these boards..I found it challenging....I just feel that if you guys appreciate U and slinky you'd make it easier for him to sell space

I once posted a review of Angel, and she told me she got 2 years worth of customers from that one review.
Another time, I posted a review on a girl Beth introduced me too, and she told me she received 30 calls the first hour after the review was posted.

This board is a goldmine for escorts. Ive always felt the management underestimates its value, and value for lowlifes like me also.

If Ive offended any escorts for calling them fat, old or ugly, please accept my apology. Name calling is childish, and I sometimes forget Im an adult when it comes to this hobby.

Advertising and the freewheeling atmosphere here are incompatible. This is exactly the same problem every media runs up against -- the interest of the advertisers against the interests of telling it like it is. There is no chance that tenor of the posts here are going to change, so the choice is live with the atmosphere the way it is, or find another way to earn money.

There's a percentage of stuff here that is unneccesarily snarky and sometimes downright insulting. I don't think it can be helped.

Every other site I can think of either has ads and no critique or ads and shill BS.Some of the providers complaining actually have a problem with the knowledge and experience of many of the posters here.

if you've seen someone,and you review them and its true its cool...its when a girl posts for the first time...for example see the ISO section in nyc...this girl just posted and was trashed...no reason,she was heavy and 300hr...what was the point? She'll never buy an ad

It seems like those guys do not think she is worth the 300 dollars. Do they not have a right to voice that? Maybe she would not have gotten the greating she got if say her rate was 150 or 200. Its like almost all visiting escorts, their rates go up big time when they come to NYC. I've seen them double just cause they think its NYC. I am not saying her rates have doubled or are different from her "home area".

Any of them under 40?....and offer greek? Come on Miki..can you hook a guy up?

I think ejnj is right. Also the providers need to seperate out the PAID advertising aspects from "living" on the boards (obviously if they are advertising on the cheap in the ISO section, they just have to take what's coming). They can buy the add--it's not expensive in comparison to the cash flow from providing--and if they don't like the conversations in the forums, don't stick around and participate.

I like 18 - 22 for cheap, not for $200 an hour. I like what I could never get for "FREE", if you know what I mean.

I can say I am friends with no whore. We have nothing in common. I have yet to meet any that have 401 K plans or invest in mutual funds.

American Whores are worth maybe $100 - $125 an hour at most and they must be at least 7 in the looks department.

Miki is right. This board has way fewer women participating than the other hobby related chat boards. Yes, you can name a few women who are here, but it's really a small number compared to other sites. Hell, it's really small compared to what it used to be.

Just look at how few ads there are here, these days.

And that's a shame, because the format here is better than most, in my opinion. Those of us that come to sites like this to find women to meet up with would really benefit from more women participating here. Those of you that come to sites like this because you want to pick apart women are ruining it for the rest of us.

If someone posts and her pics, or her rates, are not something that you are interested in, then go read another thread. But don't tell us that you aren't interested, because we don't care. Either we like her, or we don't. If you have seen someone and you want to review them, great. But if you haven't seen them, then go the hell away.
