When I am in or around Williamsburg for the last decade there is a higher end bodega called ‘Hana Food’ on metropolitan. Their sandwiches are unreal, they are open 24/7 and the names of some of the sandwiches are UG approved. Two of my favorite sandwiches they make are called ‘My girlfriend is a whore’ and ‘ MILF Revenge’. Combine that with voodoo new orleans chips and yerba mate there and your in it!

When I go into Astoria I always hit up Compton's or Sal, Kris, & Charlie's.
Finding a place with really good slaw is important for that sandwich. Sometimes I make the sandwich myself at home except for the slaw. I will go to the Forest Pork Store in Huntington and buy their slaw. Which is great, so is there Macaroni salad.

I cant remember if ive brought it up before but, Mangiamos Italian Deli on MCR in Centereach is a solid sandwich spot also. I havent had a bad hero from there yet.
Also... Ivarone Bros in Wantagh. Around 11am they put out the pre-made sandwiches. They have this one sandwich: prosciutto, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, seems like arugula, balsamic glaze, on this long thin torpedo type hero bread. They are awesome. They go quick too you have to get there like right around lunch time.

Not exactly a deli but it is a sandwich. Was recently at Brennan and Carr on nostrand in Brooklyn. It has been some years and I was banging a chick in the area and stopped by after leaving her apartment for lunch. That roast beef sandwich is unfucking real. I usually see her once a week for some fun when he husband is at work. So this may be a weekly lunch.
